" Koda Web acted as a real partner, not only through to the launch of our website but in the following months and they continue to do so. "

"Quick and easy process from start to finish.  The team at Koda listened to us and delivered a website that met our brand guidelines and exceeded our expectations.  We are really happy with the result."

" The crew is super easy to deal with throughout the whole process and delivered everything as they said they would. "

" During the design and development process they translated all the “tech speak” into information we could understand and made the process as pain-free as possible! "

Insight from a techlexic

I cannot code and I don’t really know the difference between PHP and HTML, yet KodaWeb were crazy enough to hire me. I’m a self-confessed techlexic (well, relative to everyone here at least.) I can still navigate Facebook and can purchase something over the internet with ease. However, as soon as my colleagues start chatting about different CMS platforms and back end systems integration, I start to get a little lost.

Luckily for our customers, my role here involves sales, marketing and lead generation. So I may not be able to build you a website but I’ve become very good at finding out what’s wrong with your current one. In this time, I’ve come across all sorts of websites, from selling All Blacks gear for dogs to conspiracy theorists ranting, and while some have been amazing, the clear majority of people just want a very simple and cheap website. Interestingly though, some of the worst websites I’ve come across are in fact the web developers and designers’ very own websites! The web developers focus so much on the functionality that the websites they build are often out-dated looking and ugly while the designers try so hard to be creative that they forget about customer usability. And this is then reflected in their work.

That’s what I think we do best here at KodaWeb, we have experts for everything from backend development to frontend development to design. We have a team who have worked together for almost five years and all understand that they must work together to ensure the best results for our customers. Sometimes web developers and designers need to step back and think not about how well coded the website is or how artistic it is but also look at it from the end users point of view, consider what the customer is hoping to achieve, what a user is expected to do on the site and by doing this they may be able to produce the best website possible for their customers. Sometimes it’s better to put yourself in the shoes of a techlexic to get your finest results and as a techlexic I am confident that here, at KodaWeb, we produce the best websites tailored to the final user.
